David Lloyd pioneered the health club boom in the UK in the early eighties and built up an empire of clubs over fifteen years or so before being bought out in the mid nineties.
David Lloyd set up the Slater Squad in the early nineties where Tim Henman spent six years of his tennis career developing his trade, he has now set up three very successful David Lloyd Tennis Academies here in the UK with another one opening up in Dubai Sports City in September 2009.
